May Happenings

Life didn't slow down after Jill's wedding. I headed to Chicago for a public relations conference in mid-May. As soon as I returned home, Micah and I headed up to Harrisburg to help some of out best friends move and celebrate Mother's Day with Micah's mom. Last weekend we had attended a friend's wedding. It was a beautiful wedding, dispite the rain that dampened the ceremony.

In between celebrating milestones with friends and family, we've been doing little things around the house. The tree in our front yard died (the tree doctor said it was declining, so we had it taken out). So instead of replanting a tree since we are most likely going to put our house on the market later this summer, we are trying to grow grass in its place. Wish us luck. Other than that, we are slowing cleaning out closets and trying to thin out some of the crap we've both collected over the year. (however, it is mostly Micah since I've moved four times in the last five years and I have gotten good at throwing stuff out.)

As we head in to June, things look a little more low key. Hopefully we will get to a couple of weekends in Deep Creek before the July 4th. Until then, we are just enjoying the amazing weather we have been having.
