Here for the Party

I survived a rite of passage for every bride to be... the bachelorette party!! On September 17, friends from New Hampshire, Michigan and Baltimore came to Charm City to help me celebrate. We started out with a wine tasting at house, hosted by Amy and Stacie. I think we all agreed that the voulet was the best. After the tasting, we had an amazing dinner at Pazo, a tapas place in Fells Point. After dinner we went to the square in Canton, where we enjoyed yummy drinks at Cosmopolitan. Then it was off to Inner Harbor and Have a Good Day Cafe -- where we danced the night away.

Oh and the limo was a lot of fun! As we were getting in, there was a bright rainbow in the sky. It was destined to be a 'magical' evening.

I have other pictures I can send if you would like to see those pictures not for public consumption ;).

I have to thank Katie for planning a great evening. It was so much fun and I hope everyone had fun and enjoyed themselves.

L'Shana Tovah

Happy New Year!! Micah and I spend Rosh Hashanah in Harrisburg with his family. There is nothing like homemade matza ball soup and apple kugel. I love the holidays because we get to spend time with family and friends.

Reese had a wonderful time hanging out with Monty and Max, my future-in-laws dogs. Reese has learned how to use the doggie dog at thier house to go out, but hasn't quite figured out how to come back in through the doggie dog. He would just stand in front of the sliding glass door, barking and barking. It is a good thing that he is cute because he really isn't that bright.:)

As soon as we got home on Saturday, Reese went directly upstairs and underneath the bed. I guess two days of running around the house in Harrisburg tired him out. He slept all day Sunday too.

Micah and I spent much of Sunday catching up on stuff around the house. Mowing the lawn, doing laundry, cleaning. And of course, keeping up on wedding details. With just a little over three weeks until the big day, both of us are busy and stressed out with all that needs to be done. We just need to remind us to take it one day at a time. And to breath.

Stay tuned... 26 days and counting...

Bridal Shower

Bridal Shower

This past weekend I traveled to NH for my bridal shower. It was a wonderful weekend. It was great to see family and friends. I forgot how much I miss New England. It is so beautiful.

We got a lot of great stuff. Cookbooks, cake pans, towels, blankets, glasses, place settings. All of this stuff we truly help make our house a home. Aunt Cyndi made a beautiful cake for the shower. Yellow cake with ameretto frosting. Yummy!

Next weekend is the bachelorette party. Get ready for the party!!!
